Healthy Recipes: Tofunaise

Very creamy and rich – that’s the taste of our Tofunaise, a healthy alternative to conventional mayonnaise. We show you with this recipe how you can make a healthy and vegan mayonnaise very quickly and easily yourself.

Silken tofu is particularly suitable for our recipe. It is much softer than tofu because it contains more water. Visually, it looks more like cottage cheese or firm yogurt. Silken tofu is very versatile, thanks to its soft consistency you can use it as a base for creamy sauces, soups, desserts and dips.

It is not only in the kitchen that silken tofu scores points for its versatility – it also has plenty of health benefits. Silken tofu is made from soybeans. The soybean is considered very nutritious, as it is characterized by its low fat content and high protein and nutrient content. It contains all the essential amino acids that the body cannot produce on its own. In addition, iron, calcium, zinc, magnesium, folic acid and potassium are contained in silken tofu.
