Healthy Recipes: Baked Cauliflower with Tahini

This recipe isn’t just for cauliflower. You can also use it to prepare any other vegetable. Whole grain rice, potatoes or pasta go perfectly with it. It is quick to prepare and is also suitable for a large number of guests.


  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 tofu
  • 2 tbsp tahini (sasame paste)
  • 2 tbsp Shiro Miso (white miso paste)
  • 2 tbsp tamari soy sauce
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • Cauliflower cooking water

Step 1
Wash the cauliflower and cook the whole head in a little water – with a pinch of sea salt – for about 15-20 minutes, until it is soft but does not fall apart.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut the tofu into small square cubes.

Put all the other ingredients in a small bowl and mix them together to create a creamy sauce. At the end you add the tofu cubes.

Step 4
Spread the cauliflower in a baking dish – but you can also leave it whole – and pour the creamy sauce over the cauliflower. Now put the whole thing in the oven for 30 minutes on the lowest level until the sauce turns golden brown.


  • Tip 1: Sauerkraut and / or a green salad go very well with this as additional side dishes.
