Ingredients for Energy Balls with hemp seeds
- 125 g sunflower seeds
- 130 g dried dates
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (low in oil)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch cardamom
- 1 pinch of sea salt
Preparation of the Energy Balls with hemp seeds
Step 1
Put 125 g sunflower seeds with 2 tbsp hemp seeds in a blender and grind everything briefly to a fine flour.
Step 2
Soak the dried dates in hot water for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add the soaked dates, 2 tablespoons of cacao powder, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 pinch of cardamom, and 1 pinch of sea salt to the ground mixture in the blender and blend on high until smooth.
Step 4
Form small bite-sized balls with your hands (yields about 15-20 pieces, depending on size).
Tip:
You can coat the balls in toasted sesame seeds, coconut flakes, dried raspberries or finely chopped nuts. This healthy power snack is also a nice gift, because homemade makes much more joy than purchased gifts. Store the balls in the refrigerator. There they can be kept for up to 10 days. They are also great for freezing and defrost very quickly. So you can prepare them ahead for enjoying at a later time.

Hello. Your recipes are simply amazing. I chose 100% vegan lifestyle 15 years ago. Unfortunately 6 years ago became allergic to seeds, nuts, oats, all fruits and vegetables that contain seeds.
Do you have recipes that are free from nuts and seeds and oats?
Thank you
